Rural Decay

I find it amazing how the rubbish just grows in the countryside. There
must be all kinds of spores in the air, like mushrooms.

Then, after a particularly windy night, followed by a humid and damp
day, the spores germinate and all kinds of things appear.

Empty Coke cans, John Smith Lager cans, Costa Coffee paper cups etc.

Why are these growths always empty though? Maybe it is to reflect the
mental state of the people who discarded them?

Titles and Words

I'm still reading the interview with Minor White and keep finding
things I really like.

Really really like!

He started writing poetry for a long time before he turned to
photography.

One of the things he said was that words enhance a photo and a photo
can enhance the words.

I love this!

So my words for this picture:

Title: Cattle Barn

Words:

There is a great contrast between this old barn and the different
light from the seasons and weather.

It can come across as great and cold and austere in Winter and warm
and reflective when the setting sun's last rays are painted on it in
Summer.

There is also the warm sweet smell of the cattle. Real lovely warm
country smells.
