Juno Wines Art

The artwork here at www.junowines.com is fantastic. Coffee is great too! Vibrant, fantastic, bright, lively... if you live in the Cape or are visiting there, this is a MUST place to visit.
Try their platter of cheese with home made jams and fresh breads! Absolutely fantastic.
I had their marmalade. Nice and chunky square pieces. Johan Du Toit, if you're reading this, you need to sell this chunky marmalade that your kitchen staff are making, and I would buy it all!!!

Unreal!!! But True!
What would you say, is the most special thing that happened to you today, this week, this month, this year?
And if you thought it was WOW at the moment that it happened, do you still think it is WOW right now? Does it get more special as you realize what happened or does it fade away over time?
And think about ranking it. If you say to a friend, something really special happened to me, would the friend ask if you had won a million pounds? So how does your very special thing rank against picking up a million pounds? Is it better that that?
This morning, a very special thing happened to me and I happened to it. On the way from Waterloo station to work.
Just a quick aside…..
What did I see this morning that I loved seeing? I walked Looby Loo, Pixie Toes, Teddy Bear and Bailey this morning and saw the two big bulls in the field right close to the road. Magnificent creatures. Then, in the field opposite, the suckling herd. Cows with their calves. All the calves at the gate looking at this strange procession of dogs and a bloke. Innocent, deep dark eyes. Like deep water pools. So lovely.
Then, while rowing, a cock pheasant in all his golden glory and red head walking across the lawn. A rat, walking up to the chicken feeder, having his breakfast, reading the paper, contemplating what mischief he can get up to for the day.
Three crows, at the feeder, pecking at some carrion, very alert and beautiful in their polished black outfits and long strong beaks.
So, even before work, saw many special things but the VERY special thing was even better.
I was walking down the path with a fence to my left and out of the corner of my eye, saw a bird sitting really close to me. A crow!!! Sitting on the fence railing where the block of flats are. It was facing away from me looking at the flats so I put my hand up behind it gently and IT LET ME STROKE IT!!!!! I was AMAZED! It was just sitting there and it then hopped about. I put my finger on to its chest and pushed a bit and IT HOPPED ONTO MY FINGER!!! So amazing. People were walking past me just smiling and I was in a world of my own. So I just stroked it a couple of times and then put it back on the railing and walked off.
I’m SHOCKED. Still absolutely amazed! Did not even think of trying to take a photo. Just enjoyed the moment! Maybe I should go back and see if it is there and take it home!
How about that!!!!
